GATS is a system designed to optimize the performance of a racing vehicle by enhancing average acceleration during a drag racing event.

What is GATS?

GATS Stands for G-Meter Assisted Tuning System, a brand new set of algorithms and hardware to monitor and adjust the AMS-2000 power output to maximize performance under a wide rangeof circumstances encountered when racing.
GATS is a three layer system composed of parameters the tuner can program for maximum efficiency during a run. Each of these options can be applied to each individual setup giving you the maximum in controllability.

Acceleration GATS

Using a target curve that you want the vehicle to reach – or maintain, GATS can increase, or decrease your Active Time Target Boost or Nitrous % based on G-Force changes in real time with the ability to select corrective amounts in three time based segments you can limit the corrections to during the pass.

Lift GATS

The AMS-2000 has multiple accelerometers which are used to detect the vehicle angle during a run. Based on this data, you can set limits in three seperate time segments during a run where the system can reduce power if the lift exceeds a pre-programed limit. The goal of Lift GATS is to “trim” any excessive front end rise that is over limits smoothly to avoid the driver having to pedal the car due to a wheelstand. It can also react very quickly – faster than a driver can, to a situation where you’ve missed the chassis tune-up resulting in a very fast rise in angle making power adjustments to bring the front end down quickly – without pedaling the car saving ET.

Decel GATS

Excessive wheel speed results in lost ET, GATS detects this condition using multi axis accelerometers and a very sophisticated control algorithm.
